I'm originally from the east coast (I grew up in New Jersey, went to school in New York), but I came out to San Diego for graduate school. I am working on my Ph.D. in Physics, but I swear I'm not as nerdy as the stereotypes would make you think. At least most of the time, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a nerd.
I'm a big fan of balance; being in a Ph.D. program tends to lead to a life of extremes, so in my spare time I like to read (non-physics books), go running, and I recently started playing the piano.
I would describe myself as friendly, sarcastic, and always looking for new experiences. The last quality is what I look for most in a woman. Other than that, I try to take each person as they are - chemistry and compatibility are more important than a preconceived standard.
