Brit abroad - I've lived in London for several years after growing up in the North, now I'm loving being in New York.
There are still so many things that I would love to see. I traveled across South East Asia solo, spent some time in India, Northern Africa etc - Vietnam is my favourite country - amazing food - lovely people. I love being outdoors, especially sailing and generally trying new things. I'm using the opportunity here to tick off South America, although I really miss weekend hopping around Europe.
Music is a huge part of my life, I'm always catching gigs -i never know the name of the artist, but then i'm never quite sure which hole in the wall i'm watching them in either. Piano bars or divy music bars are my mecca, although I can't wait for summer festivals.
When I finally get downtime I love cooking for friends, trawling museums or vintage vinyl stores. I love the Nitehawk in Williamsburg and outdoor cinema - I have really geek tastes in films, quite eclectic, but I'll never watch a romcom - when i watch sports it's usually football (soccer) or rugby, but I'm getting better at NA football and basketball (under duress)!
I'm a little bit of a geek (Actually slightly more geek than a little) and I do find myself musing about the insane. I would love to be with someone with a passion for the unexplored - who would pick up their passport in an hour and be outta here - someone who loves going to see new bands, regardless if they were any good - and would take eating outside in winter under little heaters in EV over fancy midtown restaurants.
