I have a quirky sense of humor and lean towards honesty. Love to lounge in a comfy chair at the local coffee shop reading and chatting. Enjoy sitting in a pub talking over a couple of pints; laughing at silly and weird things; pressing shuffle on the ipod and enjoying my strange and varied taste in music.
Very close to my wonderful family and have an eclectic group of friends that I adore.
Recently getting back into reading, so if I can get away with it, I would sit and read all day long…anything from fiction to politics, (fave- Douglas Coupland). I’m also pretty open when it comes to music…Queen, Bowie, Andrea Bocelli, the Smiths, Peter Murphy, the Doors, Joni Mitchell, Billie Holiday, Beenie man…basically everything.
New places excite me- lived briefly in the UK and Mexico. I was born in Guyana, South America and lived there until I moved to upstate New York when I was younger. I just returned to Boston after spending the past three years living and working in Guyana. Taking me a bit to get used to the cold weather again...
In relationships, I need an ambitious personality, honesty and a ridiculous sense of humor from my partner. I tend to get along with most people I meet and appreciate our differences as well as the similarities. I am however, a sucker for a kind man who thinks nothing of walking that older person across the street.
