I think it’s a bit mundane to read 100 different profiles that say the same old - “I’m like X, and I’d like X in a partner.” So, I’d like to take a different approach to this section – a less traditional approach that attempts to free you from the clutches of monotony if you will. Feel free to let me know how I did. Top 10 most interesting facts (in no particular order): 1.From 06- 08 I maintained jobs in three totally different fields at the same damn time! (Working like a one legged man in an ass kicking contest) -My Regular 9-5 (my daily requirement to get health insurance) -Started real-estate development company (my money) -Freelance Graphic design artist (my passion) 2.I’m generally against ALL trap music and anything even remotely associated with the trap/hood- such as but not limited to: Anything Chief Keef or even anything looking/ sounding vaguely similar to the aforementioned clown. (I actually ran into him at Best Buy, SMDH!) Guns/ the second amendment Glorifying drugs, sex, violence Snitches/Ninjas… if you know what I mean Disrespect in general. Tenants that don’t pay rent/ squatters (this is personal) Bad teeth. (Please reference Trinidad James’ mouth.) Fat dudes wearing skinny jeans… sagging skinny jeans. Smh! 3.I’m a news junkie but more specifically a political junkie. When I saw that television news wasn’t accurately depicting the true nature of our so call politicians, I decided to unplug from the matrix. I like to get my news from the blogosphere. 4.Despite my regular 9-5 day job of staring at spreadsheets all day, I was born with a creative bone. The Wolf (Pulp Fiction)… That’s me. People come to me when they want either: A problem solved A new idea I’ve also done woodworking, photography, video editing, and brochure design. I would consider myself an inventor/planner/entrepreneur. (Jack-of-all-trades, master of none) 5.I’m a lover of ALL music, but 90’s HIP HOP saved my life. Huge Roots fan I go to Rock The Bells in NYC or Cali every year. Lately I’ve been really digging Euro Jazz Hip. 6.I told my cable provider to remove BET from my list of available channels. Reference section 2 for explanation. 7.Saturday nights, when I’m hitting the streets I listen to AM sports/talk radio. Not because I get hyped from talk radio- again, reference section 2. 8.I dig chicks that make affirmative statements. It’s kinda hot. It shows confidence, passion, and a level of intellectual willingness to go to bat for what you believe in. 9.I have a slight addition to the following programs: Breaking Bad, House of Lies, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, and finally The Boondocks, Uncle Ruckus is my guy “No Relation” LOL! … I don’t watch a lot of TV though. Lol! All of those shows are great but the best program to date is The Wire, hands down – and I dare you to disagree! Lol! 10.Some folks have called me an “Antisocial-socialite.” I don’t really like to hit the streets very often, but when I do… I actually organize my own events, parties and gathering. Bonus round: 11.*This may be weird* Of course I love all women, but women with nice calves… umph umph umph 12.I enjoy all fitness related activities but I really love running, so much so that I started a Saturday running group. 13.I’m fairly opinionated. However I believe almost everything is open for discussion, debate or negotiation. 14.I had mixed feelings about Django Unchained. I’ll save my comments for later. 15.I have two food weaknesses: Veggie deep-dish pizza (Mushroom and Spinach) and generally all Thai food. 16.I juice regularly… not like Barry Bonds. 17.I’ve had four (near deadly) “road to Damascus” moments in my life. 18.My grandmother was one of the first black female jazz artists in Chicago. 19.I believe in science and evolution. 20.
