I honestly thought that at this age it would be easier to date, but it’s actually (in a lot of ways) harder. I’ve been on and off the site longer then I would like to admit. But I guess haven’t met the right person yet and I’m not interested in settling for just anyone so here I am. I’m not much of a writer and I am completely aware that I have one of those long profiles. But I feel it’s important (even though this doesn’t really scratch the surface of who I am or what I’m about). So here we go…

I speak fluent sarcasm (but never malicious so you shouldn’t take me seriously)
I can grow a magnificent beard
All of my immediate family lives in Texas (even though we’re all from NJ)
I enjoy watching sports and love going to Phillies, Eagles and Flyers games
I don’t have an xbox or PlayStation, but I like video games
I think hipsters try to hard
I’ve come to realize I have A LOT of t-shirts
I didn’t start drinking till I was 23(got hammered on Coors light. Not my finest hour)
I didn’t start drinking coffee till I was 30 for that matter (Love DD!!!)
Music is my life and I never go anywhere without my Ipod (The replacements, pete yorn, kings of leon, paramore, the cure, bloc party, imogen heap, death cab for cutie, the script, the beatles, bob marley, DMB)
I workout regularly but I’m not a gym rat (I’ve successfully completed P90, P90X, P90X2 and Insanity in the past couple of years. I’m currently get back into my routine after hurting my neck……my cardio is embarrassing)
I love Lorenzo’s Pizza and I’m patiently waiting for it to re-open
I find a woman in heels to be so incredibly sexy
I miss having a pet
Gigantic Howard Stern Fan
People who use the phrase "work hard, play hard" make me want to vomit
I was in a band for 5 years
I love going to the movies (I put a lot of butter on my popcorn)
I’ve had the same job for over 15 years and counting (fingers crossed ;)
I have my own house
Cowboys, Mets and Yankees fan are annoying
I don’t smoke but love having a cigar from time to time
I’ve known some of my closest friends for over 20 years
I miss comfortable silences
As for what I’m looking for: Someone who “gets” me. Someone who finds my quirks endearing instead of annoying. Someone is going to make me as big a priority in their lives as I’ll make them in mine. Someone that has common interests (cause I think that incredibly important in a relationship). I like a woman that is active but still appreciates the joys of a lazy sunday. I’m not against dating someone with kids but it would have to be the right situation for everyone. Would still love to have a family of my own someday.
