I recently moved to Denver from San Diego and am ready to check out the town. Looking for someone to see it with. Preferably someone who keeps me laughing and isn't a Republican. Is that you?
Where you won't find me: running a marathon, at a gun show or at any kind of club/rave.
You'd have better luck looking at a flea market, cruising around a new neighborhood, art gallery, realistically, at Target or just chilling at the dog park with my pup.
What I find funny: Louis C.K., Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Woody Allen sarcasm.
Music style varies...my new favorites are Mumford Sons, The Lumineers and Ray Lamontagne. But you can never go wrong with Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Norah Jones or Keb Mo. I can't wait to go to a concert at Red Rocks this summer...or any outdoor music festival for that matter.
All-time favorite movies: Shawshank Redemption, English Patient, JFK and Band of Brothers...the BEST
What else?!
I'm definitely a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. I'm not into people who are always trying to keep up with the Joneses. It pretty much backfires when people think they're "impressive" by showing off their things. So, if you've listed your giant flat screen t.v. or your Hummer as your favorite things...we can just call it a day now. My style is realistic, simplistic, quality not quantity.
I'm not really a competitive person. It kind of freaks me out when people always have to "win" everything. I'm more of the thought that there's enough for everyone.
What I'd like to find in a person: humility, honesty, creativity, open-mindedness. That's a good start.
