I'm a pretty laidback, fun-loving guy always open to meeting new people that like to have a good time. I'm rarely seen not out joking around with friends, staying active playing sports or working out, traveling around to wherever I feel like going at the moment, and/or building something new and exciting working with other interesting, motivated, and like-minded entrepreneurs. I'm a pretty sociable guy and like to think that I click with a pretty broad range of people. I can be charming at times but am probably best known for having some sort of witty wordplay battle with friends and those around me. I like to keep people on their toes from time to time, so I'm just sayin, if you roll out some lazy setup for a joke or back-handed compliment, I may not be able to resist. Don't say you haven't been warned :)
So anyway, I went to college at UNC-Chapel Hill and then worked as an attorney for a couple years for a big law firm downtown after law/grad school. It wasn't a bad gig, but incredibly long hours, lack of freedom and time for friends weren't so cool at times, so I finally made a break for it to pursue my dream I've had since childhood of becoming a full-time entrepreneur two years ago when an apparel company I had started in law school started to take off, and I have been absolutely loving it ever since. About a year ago, I started a new full-time gig heading up marketing for a fast-growing local startup company doing really cool stuff, but it's such a unique idea that talking about it on here would make me WAY too easy to Google stalk, so you can just ask me about it later :) In any event, there's definitely no better feeling than getting to be your own boss and having the time/freedom to pursue the things you're passionate about and to take trips places you've never been. On the athletics side, I like to stay pretty active with working out, social league sports, etc. and even used to moonlight as a walk-on (read: benchwarmer) member of the UNC football team back in the glory days.
I'm mostly just looking for other fun people that like to go out and have a good time. I'm still not quite sold on the whole idea of internet dating, so I'd be happy enough to just meet some cool people with similarly twisted senses of humor that are fun to go get drinks or try something new with. And it never hurts to find other people to have as a partner in crime to go wreak havoc around Baltimore or wherever else it might be :)
But since you ask, ultimately I'm hoping to find a girl that combines a bunch of rare qualities into one person. Just to start, intelligence and sense of humor are huge to me...if you can keep up with the pretty epic pace and take-no-prisoners-style of conversation when you're out with a group of my friends, but still turn around and have a (relatively rare) serious intelligent conversation later on about something that appeals to my closet nerd side, then you win major points. Drive and passion (about anything really, as long as it's something) are an incredible turn-on, and I'd hope that whoever I meet shares my kind of child-like zeal for traveling, exploring new things and places, and otherwise pretty much treating life like it's a giant playground. Independence is key as well...I'd hope that whoever I meet would, like me, be really into keeping time for friends and family, and so I'd see us kind of combining and splicing our two worlds together a little bit rather than just substituting in for any one thing ...But all that is a lot to take in. What do you say we just start with drinks or something like that first and go from there?
