Where to begin this self promotion - let's start off with, I'm a native Houstonian that was raised in Maryland before moving back to go to college.I have an eclectic style, but being ordinary isn't really living is it? I'm a creative, driven, humorous, and adventurous guy. I have an outgoing personality and enjoy being spontaneous from time to time. While being spontaneous is great, I also enjoy staying home and relaxing just as much. I'm at the gym 5 days a week at least so my schedule is pretty packed, but I always find time to relax.I love to grill and usually do that 3-4 times a week. Cooking/grilling has become a bit of a hobby for me and been part of my diet training so it works out well. I have a sizable family and I enjoy spending time with them regularly - 5 brothers and 1 sister. Family is very important to me and being close to those who know me best. Before you set a height minimum - I love to laugh, I have a big heart, I enjoy a punchy sarcastic comment and I am an optimistic thinker - that being said I am 5' 7" which is apparently not in tall demand (See what I did there? I made it into a play on words.)
As a profession I'm a graphic designer, and I recently started my own business on the side. During the day I'm a Graphic User Interface Designer in the oil and gas industry. I enjoy the challenges of design and being able to solve the problems creatively and them visually whether the piece is printed or digital.
I also have a great little son who will be three this year, although he doesn't live with me, I do have him every other weekend. I'm not looking for someone to be an instant step-mom and I probably wouldn't consider bringing him around for at least six months. I want to get to know you before I were to do that, but if things were to get serious I'd hope that she'd be a positive influence to add to his life.
I would like to find a lovely lady with similar interests of course. Someone who has an understanding mind, a kind heart, that laughs often and loves life. Someone who enjoys an active lifestyle, being outdoors at Memorial Park or on the beach, heading to the Galleria for an afternoon, working out at the gym or going on a run together. With an active lifestyle comes a healthy(attempted) cooking or grilling at home. I don't eat out much but that doesn't mean I'd turn down an opportunity to check out a new restaurant or dive bar. I'm looking for someone who is easy going, professionally driven, open minded, all with a healthy dose of humor and positive thinking.
