Howdy, I'm Adam. I have to say writing about myself is rather strange but I suppose you gotta start somewhere. So here goes...
I'm a born and raised South King County lad but I've spent the last 9-10 years in and around Seattle. I'd love to see the rest of the world before the whole settling-down thing but the PNW will always be home. I guess I'm pretty much a typical dude's dude with a love for sports and the outdoors. And hot spicy things and cold beer. I tell bad jokes and use sarcasm to cover up awkward social situations. There isn't a moment when I don't have some sort of music playing and you definitely want me on your team for Trivia Night since I know pretty much everything. I'll read any book on the shelf and I always try to keep up with what's happening in the world. Sometimes I grow a beard, sometimes I don't. Summer weekends are usually spent on the motorcycle or in a tent by a lake; winter weekends you'll find me on the slopes or at the football game. I think I'm pretty independent and can get along just fine wherever I end up.
So, what do I look for in a companion/lover/soulmate? She doesn't have to be a country gal but she does love spending time IN the country. She takes care of herself but doesn't mind a 2am frozen pizza every now and then. She's always active and loves her sports. She enjoys a good dirty joke and maybe lets the F-bomb slip out a few too many times. She is proud of her eccentric taste in music but probably has a few albums she still hides from everyone. She loves a night out dancing but isn't afraid to share a cheap pitcher with me at the local dive. She enjoys her life outside of her relationships and is loyal to her family. Most of all, she holds herself in high regard and takes pride in who she is. So if you're the trophy-wife type and are looking for a handsome face and a $75,000 paycheck, don't think I'm your boy..
Ofcourse anyone can make a list of traits their perfect mate would have, but none of that matters without that connection we all hope to have with someone. Luckily you can usually figure that out within the first 15 minutes or so. If you're the type of girl that likes to frequent tailgates, Oktoberfests, and ski slopes, I think we'll get along just fine.
