I work as an advocate/educator for Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention at an Indy hospital. The nature of my job obviously makes it a little hard to meet new people (kind of difficult to transition from a discussion about child abuse into, Would you like to go out sometime?) so I decided to give this a try. My job keeps me pretty busy, but in my spare time I enjoy running (not while I'm doing it, just when it's over), traveling all over the country, reading classic literature (working on reading all 200 Barnes and Noble Classics), and playing/watching sports. I'm also working on editing a novel I have written, about the psychological/emotional effects of growing up in a single-parent home on children and adolescents. I'm always open to new ideas and up for new experiences.
