I just arrived here from New York, its a bit of culture shock but I'm enjoying it.
I'm a down to earth person. Love movies and books. Educated and intelligent yet not pretentious. I have an athletic build but don't kill myself working out. I guess you could say I care how I look but it does not border on vanity. I'm a jeans and t shirt guy, but clean up ok. I may look preppy, but I've had shoulder length hair. (When it got to record company pony tail length, I cut it). Work had gotten to be too big a part of my life, I needed to step back. Money is great, the vehicle to fuel your dreams. But at this point, I aspire to bigger things.
I am wholesome without being a boy scout. I live for playing with my nieces and nephews, and have lots of them. It's very important to me to handle and carry myself like a gentleman (without being boring or a wuss).
I only yell during the New York Football Giant game.
Weather permitting, I surf every single day. The fact that you can't be in the water after it rains here is upsetting.
I don't trust people who are not moved by music, and I like all types, from Jam bands and classic Rock (71 phish shows) to Hip Hop, Jazz RB. I am happiest accomplishing something. I am more competitive than I'd like at times, but it's served me well. I love to make people laugh and have a cutting wit that sometimes gets me in trouble. I push myself to try things I always wanted to do.
I guess I should mention what I like, not dislike. That being said, If you employ terms such as gi-normous, TMI, or don't go there, I don't think we will get along. It speaks to a different sensibility. Also, I don't like little dogs. I love real dogs.
I'd like to meet the right girl obviously, but Im not sure what that constitutes these days. Good hearted and comfortable with herself are non negotiable. She's beautiful inside and out with an intellectual curiosity and sense of wonder. Her smiles are genuine just like her laugh. She knows she is sexy, and she likes it.
