Overall, people say that what's unique about me is my balance between driven, serious, laid-back, wacky and funny.
I've designed and built furniture from scratch. Man card intact.
I'm a big fan of the truth. The truth really does set you free (unless you're in jail, then you probably have to be let out).
What am I looking for? I'm looking for the magic combination of smart, funny, interesting and compassionate. It's always great when the person you're with has strengths that you don't, and vice versa. Together you're stronger than either one of you could be alone.
I find staying healthy fun and I cook all the time. I love books like "Wheat Belly" and documentaries like "Forks over Knives." I just got a Vitamix blender and whoever said a $400 blender can't buy happiness has never had a Vitamix.
I was born in Michigan (only memory is a puffy body jacket like the kid in a Christmas Story), grew up in New Mexico and went to college and law school in Los Angeles (UCLA and Loyola Law School). No, I've never really practiced law. I'm a creative and technical type and I've worked for internet companies since graduating. I used to play tons of guitar, and I've written lots of songs. It used to be my "creative outlet." I'm hoping to get back to it a little. I have a deep appreciation for art and artists.
My parents are still together (rare?) and live in Los Angeles. My sister and her family live in Los Angeles also, so I go up there often to visit. I have tons of family from my mom's side (the Jewish side - no I don't practice, but culturally it's very interesting) in San Diego, and I have family in No Cal and the Midwest as well and I visit them as much as I can.
I'm usually trying to teach myself some new skills. For example, if we take a weekend trip together I'll probably take a bunch of pictures and videos and use them to teach myself some new video editing chops.
Lastly, chemistry is only knowable in person, so meeting up for a coffee/tea/drink is our best shot at finding out!
