ABOUT HIM & WHO HE'S LOOKING FOR

Good ol' Leo da Vinci wrote a few hundred years ago, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." In that vein, I'm hoping to keep my profile short and saving you time. You're welcome! ;-)

I'm a first generation American and I have lived in another country. I blend cultures and speak multiple languages. I can empathize with multiple points of view and see the larger picture. I come from a loving family. Basically, I wear multiple identities and can't easily be pigeon-holed in your head or on a piece of paper under one category or another. I don't write this because I'm trying to be weird or to stand out-- in fact, I try very hard to be a part of the American mainstream.

I am kind to old ladies and have a bit of the Southern Gentleman in me, but I don't handle flakiness well. I am good in the kitchen, but I don't like cleaning; I love to watch college football during Fall, but also enjoy playing ping pong, tennis, badminton, co-ed softball, hiking, biking, and just being outdoors. I try to center my daily life/routines on the core message of philosopher David Foster Wallace's short commencement speech from a few years ago titled, "This is water." I also enjoy/appreciate the message in another work, "The Last Lecture" by Dr. Pausch.

In the U.S. for 20 years now, I have lived in Texas for 15 of those years and a year in New Hampshire, before moving to Philly. Now I've been in this wonderful city for four years and love it enough to have bought a house here.

What I want is to hug someone, to share life's joys and sorrows with someone. I'm ready for a loving relationship. What excites me are people who are open-minded, positive, and full of life. Most of my friends and family are like that, so I'm surrounded by joy and success, and want more of the same in a match.

I have a weakness for women who are warm, intelligent, well put together, but also passionate and motivated in life. You can hear it when they talk. They soar, and take others along with them! They're able to have conversations that make one feel alive! Are you one of those women? If so, I want to get to know you better!
