So, some random facts about me: I'm independent, strong-, but also open-minded and fun loving. In my free time, I enjoy walking, running and hiking with my pup, snowboarding, yoga, volunteering with an organization in my community, being a mentor to students at my grad school, traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants and visiting old favorites. Things I appreciate: good conversation, spending time with friends, adventure, laughing so hard my stomach hurts, the beach and the mountains. I mean I really, really love the mountains and snowboard as much as possible throughout the winter.
Boston has been my home for almost eight years. I moved here from the Midwest for law school, fell in love with the city and never left. I really like my job and have a clear idea of where my career is heading. I am always up for trying something new, but am also responsible and serious when it matters. My friends would probably describe me as outgoing, organized, opinionated (as in passionate not close minded), loyal and a little clumsy at times.
I am generally into music (although I am awful at remembering names of bands and songs). The last full album I downloaded was Babel by Mumford and Sons and the last two songs I downloaded were Little Talks and 9 Crimes, but I also have a (not so secret) love for Eminem (and hip-hop in general).
I am interested in someone who also likes to be active, who is caring, loves to laugh, is driven and focused when it matters, but is also laid back and can have a good time. Sharing some common interests is important, but I think it's equally fun to be exposed to and share in new things.
