So I decided to join Match because I'm not the kind of guy who goes out to bars to meet women. I've had some friends tell me they've had success with Match so I thought I'd give it a go and - voila - here we are! I'm interested in finding the right woman to connect with for a potential long-term relationship.
I'm known for my witty, sarcastic, and self-deprecating humor (think Jason Bateman) with a bit of goofiness thrown in here and there just to mix things up. I'm a naturally resourceful guy who enjoys taking on a challenge. I'm a naturally encouraging and supportive person (my friends always tell me I should become some sort of coach). I think it's really important to be aware of and really grateful for even the smallest blessings in life. I also firmly believe that you're never too old to have fun and that people should try new things that interest them regardless of age. After all, that's what life is for...experiences!
I;m open to meeting someone online because I feel that it encourages making a mental connection before the physical aspects get mixed in. I'd like to have a few good chat sessions before setting up the first date. I think that will help take the edge off that first-date pressure while making it even more fun to find out if the physical chemistry is there, too. And if for some reason it's not there then no worries! At a minimum we both will have met a new friend and share a mutual admiration.
I'm looking for a romantic partner in crime to spend time with whether it be a day at the beach, hanging out for happy hour, dancing whenever/wherever the music's good, going for a road trip, or heading to Vegas (or other stay-cation location) for some pool time and RR. I really do think it's important to be active and/or athletic and open to trying new things together in order to throw in a bit of thrill and adventure here and there. I'm looking for a woman who's comfortable being just about anywhere. After all, most of the time it's the company that makes a place memorable and fun, in my opinion.
Some of the qualities and traits that I would look for in my "ideal" (nobody's perfect, right?) female counterpart are: a person who knows how to communicate well in a relationship; someone who has a positive outlook and can "make lemonade from lemons"; someone who is intelligent and has a witty sense of humor that clicks with mine; someone who is assertive and not afraid to ask for or go after what she wants in life and relationships. My match will be naturally nurturing, likes children, and wants to have them someday (and at least one or two more if she already has her own).
