Things I love- God, traveling, a great book (huge reader), family (extremely close to my step-children as I raised them for 10 years w/ the ex &consider them mine), friends, animals/pets (especially cats), cooking, new experiences, & a view that takes my breath away. After God, not necessarily in that order. I'm faithful, loyal, affectionate, & my guy's biggest cheerleader!
My guilty pleasure is TV (though I abhor reality TV). I love the can't-be-real-must-infuriate-real-life-professionals shows like CSI & Law & Order. I'm a ridiculously huge fan of SciFi. I love music & the movies. ("Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.")
I've traveled a lot, & I'm a repeat offender to some of my fave cities. I've only been to 23 countries (Europe, Asia, Middle East, South America) & a few countries in Africa are next. I'll fly to visit my friends around the world at the drop of a hat! You must want to travel. No exceptions.
I'm not a cold weather girl, so give me a beach or warm weather in general & I'm deliciously happy. I like to swim (please know that I wear my hair natural - think Angela Davis w/ twists) & hike too. Chasing summer & waterfalls is a fave past time.
I run an occasional 5/10K but I wouldn't call myself athletic- Just trying to maintain. I recently completed 5 half Marathons in 6 months. I have 3 more half marathons & Tough Mudder coming up.
I can travel, go to the movies or dinner by myself but love sharing adventures w/ others. I'm independent but still like my door opened for me. I've got a great job/career (Project Manager for technology projects), great friends, great credit, & quite happy with my life... But it would be nice to share special times with that special someone.
I'm drama free (non-negotiable) & hate arguing, but a good debate keeps me on my toes. I'm not the jealous type (really.) I also don't think a jealous man proves his love by jealousy, so please; stay away if you are him!
I don't drink or smoke. Drinking to get drunk is NOT sexy; Confidence despite what others do is. Compassion is sexy too. Intelligence, education, loyalty & experience are very sexy. Ignorance is not! I've got an extremely eclectic group of friends & quite frankly, I'm a Fruit Fly (look it up) so you have to be understanding, accepting, & open-minded where my friends are concerned.
I may be a work in progress but don't try to change me- I know exactly who I am and what I want. In return, I won't try to change you. Come as you are, but growth is required as we learn from one another. I won't ask anything of you I'm not willing to give... I can be very persuasive but pushovers need not apply.
I have no problem submitting, but understand I am NOT submissive. I have a mind, & a pretty good one. Control freaks need not apply.
I make mistakes every day, but it's ok because hopefully tomorrow is gonna come. Sorry is my way of saying, I hear you, let's work together & move forward because I care that I may have hurt you (but it doesn't always mean anyone is wrong).
I'm a quick learner, so if I make the same mistake twice... It must be fun.
I love when I see people succeed, achieve or experience peace, joy, or happiness in some way. I try to show my appreciation at all times, but can fail on the worst occasions.
My sharp wit is uncharacteristically at odds with my unrepentant silliness.

Physically, I'm cafe au lait w/ hazel green eyes, short, average build and looks. I have a smile I love flashing & I love a good heel to give height.
Looks are not important (really), but chemistry & attraction are. And you MUST have nice teeth. 50 years from now, when we're both... Not young, I need someone whose insides haven't faded with his outsides. I love a funny guy! I love confidence, not arrogance!
