Hi there,
That's my second time on Match, but I don't think I took the whole online dating thing all that seriously the first time I tried it, although I thought I did at the time. And I had a particular issue with creating a "profile" for myself; it felt like starring in a low-budget commercial. Unsurprisingly, it never worked as planned. So let me try and do it properly this time.
I came from Bulgaria about 15 years ago and the Boston area has been my home since then, except for a 2-year spell in San Diego. I have a great family and friends I love spending time with. I'm healthy, active and enjoying my life. I am ambitious, goal-oriented, keep myself busy and like it this way. I read a lot of economics websites (the Economist, the FT, Paul Krugman, etc.). I don't watch much TV and when I do, it's usually something on National Geographic or PBS's Masterpiece Theatre. You will find me totally not up-to-date on the latest hit TV series and I have no idea how well or poorly the Red Sox or the Patriots are doing. I'd go out for a run myself, rather than watch others do it (although I, like everyone else, do live in a constant state of anticipation of the next Olympics, so I can watch the women's beach volleyball tournament).
What about you? Well, are you smart, positive, confident and open-minded? Are you looking for someone you can feel comfortable and have fun with, but also someone to chase dreams with and grow as a person? Then we may be looking for each other. You tend to look for the bright side of life and don't get easily discouraged if things aren't going your way. You are comfortable with who you are and are always willing to learn something new. You are mature and understand that a relationship is a work in progress.
So if you've made it through all of the above and are still reading, how about we meet over coffee? I'd love to hear about you and if something more interesting came out of it, so much the better.
Update: Since some of you have asked, I thought I'd say a few words about what I do for work. So my job is to make it possible for businesses around the world to accept payments for the things they sell on their websites. Much of my work day is spent reading and writing emails, as you might expect, but a lot of my time is taken up keeping a well-trafficked business blog. It's fun!
