"You pretty much embody a lady and a badass simultaneously," is a compliment that seriously made my day. I am a big fan of vintage women (1940-50's style), and strive to maintain a good blend of classy and sassy; something like Audrey Hepburn mixed with Bettie Page would be rad?
I grew up in Kansas City (the Missouri side) but escaped the midwest and drove to California as soon as I graduated high school. Since then, I've been moving my way down the coast: art school in SB, some fun years in LA, and now I've finally made it to SD. I feel at home in San Diego and hope to stay here permanently. I'll never move back to the midwest; extreme weather, seasons, and the religious-right are not for me. Plus, the beach is irresistible!
I've always been into art, loved animals, and have somehow managed to combine these two into a job. I started my own business illustrating portraits of people's pets in a modern, graphic design style (among other freelance design projects) while working from home and eating cereal, rocking out, or watching Netflix in the nude! I'm still not sure how I pulled this off, but it's pretty great.
I enjoy comedy: stand-up, movies, tv, and/or surrounding myself with people that crack me up. My sense of humor is witty/silly/sarcastic/nonsensical/observational/irreverent. I'm entertained by apt use of movie quotes, sexual innuendo, or internet memes in daily life. Oh, and cat videos! Basically, I joke often and laugh even more often; that's something you should do too. For your health!!

That natural physical/chemical attraction that we can't control. After that, I have to be with someone who has a similar worldview and sense of humor; I love philosophical conversations and playful banter. Someone affectionate who loves animals. You probably shouldn't be allergic to pets, unless you're interested in ordering a lifetime supply of Benadryl?
I especially like funny, charmingly intellectual guys that write well, smile/laugh frequently, are good at cuddling and communicating, outgoing, compassionate, non-religious and fairly active (video games aren't your primary hobby, for example. Although, if you want someone to climb ALL the mountains with, I'm probably not the girl for you...everything in moderation)!
