I like learning phrases in languages that I'm pretty sure I'll fully never speak. Love learning about people's roots (full disclosure: I'm a native NYer, secular, Ashkenazi Jew. I'm the older brother of two younger twin sisters (their should be a field on these profiles for this stat). I visit my family in NY a few times a year. I've done a fair amount of solo traveling and hope to do more. Until recently, my work has been mostly in the non-profit sector, but I'm just now striking out on my own. I get along with most people, but keep just a few close friends. And although I like to think that I'm pretty open minded to people's perspectives, there's probably no more than a slim chance that I would hit it off with anyone too politically right of center (or, for that matter, anyone too apathetic or unopinionated about our world).
It would be great to meet a smart woman with eclectic interests. Someone who's pretty into something and knows something about that something. I like to stay on top of what's going on in the world and would like to meet someone who's equally curious.
