I think the expression "Life has no meaning" is incomplete; the correct, complete expression should be "Life has no meaning...because it's waiting for us to give it one." If someone gives you a coloring book, you're probably not going to hand it back and say "It's empty--where are all the colors?" You will most likely keep the coloring book, take out a box of crayons, and make rainbows happen.
And that's pretty much the way I look at life. It's a coloring book, and I'm constantly on the lookout for crayons that I can use to Make Rainbows Happen.
And the only thing more fun and fulfilling than Making Rainbows Happen is Making Rainbows Happen With That Special Woman.
So, what type of woman is usually That Special Woman? She tends to be smart, strong, and independent; funny and cynical are also very welcome. But most of all, she's also looking for those metaphorical crayons that can be used to Make Rainbows Happen, and she would be willing to do that with me.
