I am always curious and hungry for knowledge, but I don't take myself too seriously. I am always the same person, consistent with myself and my beliefs. I am proud of all the success I have achieved since it took a lot of hard work and sacrifice to get here. However, I don't believe that makes me any better or worse than anyone else. I believe in the intrinsic and equal value of everyone. I admire the strength required to take responsibility for our actions, while I seek to understand the motivations that drive all of us.
I'm looking for someone aware of the world around her, compassionate and considerate, but who also enjoys laughing until it hurts. In short, a good person that wants to share her life with her best friend.
I was born in Barcelona and was raised between Puerto Rico and Spain. I came to Boston in 1990 when I was 17. I have been a professor of electrical engineering since 2004. My job lets me satisfy my intellectual curiosity and surrounds me with brilliant and energetic students and colleagues.
