Like most people in San Diego, I am a transplant. I am originally from Ohio and I've been here since 2006. I was a travel nurse for about 3 years and decided to settle here, because I kept leaving and coming back. I had a great time travel nursing and I'm really glad I did it, but it was just too hard to leave San Diego.
My friends would describe me as someone who is down to earth, intelligent, honest, loyal, genuine, witty, and independent. What you see is what you get, with a few good surprises mixed in. I like to keep things simple. I love to laugh, and I have a good sense of humor (I guess everyone thinks they have a great sense of humor, right?). I speak sarcasm, so hopefully that's not an issue. I'm a bit more reserved with people that I don't know so well, but I do come out of my shell in time. I prefer a few close friends over hundreds of acquaintances. If I consider you a friend, I will do anything for you. My friendships mean the world to me.
I'm not looking for perfection, just someone who is perfect for me: intelligent, honest, loyal, genuine, and someone that I can laugh with. Laughing is important! I want to laugh until I cry. I've found that I don't have a type, but I'll know it when we meet.
