Let me guess... you're an outdoorsy girl who enjoys getting dressed up for a night on the town, but isn't opposed to a night in cooking dinner with a glass of wine or cuddled up to a movie? You're looking for an adventurous guy, who likes to travel, compliments you as a person, is a gentleman, knows what he wants in life, and most of all makes you laugh? You're giving this match thing a shot because you're tired of meeting guys in bars with vacuous personalities and an overzealous zest for their frat brothers? Well me too, minus the whole meeting guys and being a girl and... nevermind. What I'm trying to say is these profiles all start to sound the same after a while and if you can't take a little playful banter about the contents of your profile, then we probably shouldn't hang out.
I grew up near Philadelphia, am well traveled, and nestled into San Diego this past summer. My parents still live on the east coast and I am very close with them. I think it's super important to respect my parents since they sacrificed so much to give me the chances I've had in life. They're pretty cool too, so they're fun to hang out with. I understand that not everyone has great family experiences, but I believe family is your compass and family values are big in my book
I enjoy a good conversation, especially if it includes a battle of the wits. I try to know a little about everything, and am humble enough to admit when your knowledge base exceeds mine. If you are skilled in the world of trivia or can school me on something new, I promise you will fascinate me.
I love sports and have played soccer, baseball, basketball, golf, and tennis. Actually played squash in college. I really love watching football and baseball and as much as I love sports, they do not dominate my life. I'm more zealous about health and fitness and have been doing the CrossFit thing for a couple years now.
If you're the kind of girl that needs to be attached at the hip, then I will probably get cold feet. It's not that I don't like being close, I just think maintaining some semblance of independence is important for getting things done, clearing your head, and maintaining relationship health. I'm not clingy and won't get my feelings hurt when there's no spark between us. If there's at least some sort of interest it never hurts to give it a shot, relish the awkward moment, share a high five, and run as quickly as possible in opposite directions. :)
Happiness is a simple concept. Don't over complicate it. If you want to get to know me, just let me know, I'll make sure to bathe! Submitted from mobile
