Isn't this the part where I say "I hate talking about myself", and then proceed to write a small novel? I'll try to be pithy. It's not so much that I "hate" writing about myself, as it is finding a way to effectively describe who I am within these confines. But I'll give it my best try.
First, my name is Lindsey, not Molly. Molly is my dog and I used her name as my handle so that students would not be able to track me down (when I was teaching, this was very important). Second, I am NOT interested in a one-night stand...I am looking for more. Please don't waste either of our time if you don't feel the same way. Last, I consider 'Match' to be as it is named, a place to find mine.
I am a caring person, genuine, sometimes silly, mostly an optimist, smart, curious and active. I love skiing, going to movies, taking my dog for hikes, hanging out with friends and family, and traveling whenever I can. I am spiritual and thoughtful, and have a working moral compass.I enjoy my job, but if I won the lottery tomorrow, I would walk away without batting an eye--I would go back to teaching or doing something in education, as that is where my true passion lies.
My life is pretty normal...I work a regular job, have a dog that I adore and attend to, and have loved ones that are in my daily life. But I am looking to meet people through this particular avenue who actually want to socialize - get coffee, eat food, see films, go hiking, enjoy music, find adventures - and not keep at arm's length via texting and such.
I am looking for someone who is loving, smart, quick to laugh, slow to judge; who values his friends, respects people in general, and who loves his family and wants one of his own.
