I'm an honest, caring man looking for someone I can care for and have care for me. I want someone who's true to herself, someone I can really connect with and love to be around all day every day. I'm looking for an equal to live life to it's fullest with.
I'm a man who still believes in chivalry, but I'm also very concerned with women's rights and I always try to treat women as equals, because intellectually men and women are the same. I'm continually frustrated with social stigmas based on gender, and I am always contemplating how they may have come about and how they might be solved. I love contemplating what might have been and what could be, such as the existence of other sentient life, the supernatural, and how society may be different if history happened differently.
I love to talk and discuss things, though I may tend to get a bit critical too quickly and i'm striving to fix that. I believe that one should always be striving to improve him/herself every day, even if its just a small improvement. this philosophy struck home when i read a little anecdote of one of Bruce Lee's friends when they were training together. They were going on a run and the friend said he was so tired he thought he would die and asked to rest. Lee simply replied, "then die." This made the friend so angry he finished the race and, when asked why he responded so cruelly, Lee replied, "Because you might as well be dead. Seriously, if you always put limits on what you can do, physically or anything else, it will spread into the rest of your life. It'll spread into your work, into your morality, into your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. A man must constantly exceed his level." Lee's philosophy instills such strength in me the likes of which i've never known before. That is what I am eternally grateful to him for and that is what i wish to spread to others. Everyone needs such personal strength.
