Allow myself to introduce.....myself (clears throat): I'm a Mayan "apocalypse" survivor and recent Alabama transplant (moved here 3 months ago) that is a towering 5'7. Yep that's right. I'm pretty much a giant (in hobbit terms anyway). Also not to brag toooo much here, but at trivia a while back I knew the answer to "Name the four races/beings represented on the bridge of the Enterprise in the show Star Trek: The Next Generation"... and yes ladies, I AM single..... (winks awkwardly and flashes double pointer fingers). Right about now, I wish there was such a thing as a "sarcasm font"... haven't scared you off yet? Good, there's more!
-I love my family and friends more than words can describe.
-I have an innate ability to spill things on myself at random moments whether it's mustard, beer, wine, you name it (I once had an entire container of sour cream "explode" all over me in the middle of a restaurant...that's my story anyway).
-My career in the space industry is fun and interesting, but my passion is writing comedy and I performed my 1st set of stand up recently... dream come true for me. Looking forward to many many more!
-I am terrified/paranoid when it comes to expiration dates. I have spent an hour playing "Russian Roulette" with two identical containers of tuna salad. One of which was made the day before and the other was made... sometime that month. I threw them both out.
-Staying active and healthy is important to me and so is...you know... living.
-I've been told that a lot of women like the "bad boy" types, so recently when someone cut me off in traffic I gave them a thumbs up..... and I didn't even mean it.
-My dancing looks like a full-body dry heave set to music. I have fun with it anyway.
-One of my biggest fears is to wake up 10-20 years down the road and regret not trying/pursuing something and wondering "what if"... On a mission to make sure that doesn't happen!
-I have just as much fun backpacking for multiple days through the mountains as I do being at the beach.
-I wish there was a "That's what she said" button on face book.
-Will never take myself or anything else too seriously (the world is amazingly ridiculous... just accept it and have fun with it).
-I love challenging myself by constantly setting goals and achieving them.
-I am amazing at browning ground beef (impressive I know ha ha).
-One thing I will always be is genuine. I may be genuinely annoying, genuinely ridiculous... but you can be sure that in the end I will always be me.
-I get a kick out of reading the back of cereal boxes, soaps, you name it. I saw a soap label that said "Directions: Use hand soap as you would use any other hand soap."... classic ha ha.
-Music is a huge part of my life and one of my favorite things is to watch it live.
-Sometimes I'll stand in front of the mirror and just... reflect.
-I love to travel and go on spontaneous road trips even if it's by myself. Looking for a good traveling partner...yep I'm lookin' at you.
-Sometimes I'll drink my "Eight O' Clock" coffee... at TEN O' Clock. Damn it feels good to be a gangsta...
-If you made it this far, CONGRATULATIONS! You've exhibited extreme dedication to finishing what you started...I'm impressed by that. Alright now let's go have some fun.
