Who is this random human?
I’m currently in optometry school, so someday I will be able to use a machine to blow a puff of wind into your eye and terrify you. Life gets pretty crazy at times, but hey, that’s life. I like cooking, baking, eating, etc. I will watch/enjoy sports, but I’m not a fanatic.
I speak fluent sarcasm.
“I want adventure in this great wide somewhere.” --- I like to travel to far off places as much as the next gal, but I also think that adventures can be had in the simplest of times and places. Maybe I sat the beach and watched the sunrise… Maybe I went to the zoo and fell into the lion habitat… Any day or night for which I can say, “Hey, remember that time when…”, was obviously an awesome adventure of some sort. And I survived.
I don't currently do a lot of outdoors things, but I'm always up to try something new! Disclaimer: I’m not a "roughing it" kind of gal. I’m down for the occasional camping trip and nice, peaceful hike, preferably with the reward of a gorgeous mountain top view, but at the end of the day… I like peeing in a toilet; that’s just a deal breaker.
“Music is what feelings sound like.” --- I’ve been singing since before I could talk and I haven’t stopped since. When life gets crazy, I like to take a moment to sing. Whether it’s along with some YouTube video or my trusty guitar, it’s an essential part of my happiness.
“One thing I can tell you is we got to be free.” --- I enjoy discussing and learning about politics, though sometimes it makes me upset. America be cray sometimes. I try to watch the Rachel Maddow Show on the reg just to keep up.
“It’s time to begin. Isn’t it?” --- I'm not looking to put a ring on it right away, but I'm ready to find "my person". I’m looking for a man who can make me laugh, support me emotionally, and be my best friend. Someone who won’t give up when times get tough and will love (or maybe just ignore/accept) my flaws and imperfections. I want someone who I can have fun with, even if we’re doing nothing at all.
