I love to travel and visit new places, but I am also just as content hanging out at home. In the summer I am mostly found at my parents vacation home in NH on lake Winnipesaukee. Love to drive the boats,go hiking, grilling, and just hanging outside by the fire pitt. I'm not a go go go kind of person. I'm very easy going, but I'm always up for something. I love discussing all sorts of topics. I love to read, talk and learn about new things. So basically I know alot of random things, but it comes in handy from time to time, :) .
My friends and family would probably say the best things about me are that I'm non judgemental, a good listener, funny, and loyal. I am the youngest of four, two sisters and a brother. I find that this has made me the diplomat of the family.
I own ski's, but I am in no way an expert. Yet every winter I make an attempt at trying not to kill myself on the slopes. My brothers move out to Colorado, with his family last year, is even more of a incentive for me to increase my skills. Considering how many years I've been doing it though I think I'll always be just intermediate. That's just fine with me as I'm all about the fun and the lodge.
My favorite way to keep in shape these days is spin class. When I first started I would laugh at those lance armstrong wanna be's in their spandex in the front of class. That's the funny thing about spin, the more you do it one day you look down at yourself in class and realize omg I'm one of those people now, lol. I'm cool with that as it has gotten me in the best shape of my life. Don't think I'm gym crazy though, I generally go twice a week. Life is to busy to be that self absorbed.
I absolutely love to cook and watch cooking shows for new recipes. Love Gordan Ramsey. Other shows I watch really range, much like my music choices, I'm very ecclectic. I like what I like. Generally though, Mad Men, Top Gear, Spartacus, Game of Thrones, Being Human, Doctor Who, True Blood, some trashy Bravo channel "reality" TV shows, and whatever crazy things sucks you in to watching on Discovery fit and health.
I have just entered a Graduate Nursing Program. A whole new adventure coming from a non nurse background (English Major). I am very happy and excited about this career change. At the end of the program I'll be a Nurse Practitioner. I haven't decided what field of NP yet as I'm going to wait to see what im drawn to when I start clinicals.
Right now in my life Im really looking for someone who would like to be in a serious relationship. My friends suggested I try Match, as meeting the type of guy whose looking for that kind of relationship as well isn't easy to find when you're out socially. Especially not so much either at my new work environment where women outnumber guys, :). There is alot more to me then this quick blurb and I hope that you will want to meet me to learn more. I look forward to meeting you.
