ABOUT HER & WHO SHE'S LOOKING FOR

I just moved from living in NYC for the last 10 years to Lynn MA!!! Not so sure if that the smartest move, but at least it's only 10 miles from Boston. I bought a house so I could be closer to my family and my new nephew.
This is my second Go around at this site. I met some nice people but no one I really yearned to spend a great deal of time with. About me. Well, It's pretty simple really. I just want to meet someone normal. Of course there are a few criteria that I feel would make for an easier pairing.
I really enjoy sports, pretty much any of them. I'm fairly competitive with everything I do. I was a two sport collegiate athlete and continue to play volleyball in a competitive arena. I love to snowboard and just got back from Tahoe and Park City. Attending a sporting event or watching them on TV is also great with me.
Then there is the more feminine side to me. I love to go to the theater, dinner, and lounges. I love to hold hands, enjoy a bottle of wine and watch a movie. Of course, let's not forget the shopping!!
Someone who loves to travel is a must! Even if it's a weekend away somewhere, you need to leave the city! I try to get away a few times a year. This year I have been to Tahoe (Snowboarding), Amsterdam, Antigua, and Tenerife, Park City, and Venice.
A sense of humor is also a must. I am slightly sarcastic, so no drift wood. Please love your family. That is also important to me. I am very close to mine; they are a bit quirky, but very loving people.
As you can see in my profile, I was married previously. Hope that doesn't scare you. There is no horror story. He was a wonderful guy, we just decided he would be more wonderful if we weren't together. I'd be happy to fill in the details if you'd like.
I'm a regional a Director of Marketing and New Business Development and meet a variety of people all day long. It would be great if you were incredibly outgoing, confident, and not shy (although that can be endearing, it wears on you). Confidence is sexy but don't be cocky, massive turn off.
My friends would undoubtably tell you that I am pretty straight forward but not rude. I'd rather not waste my time or yours and I'd appreciate the same honesty. Yes, I'd love a fairy tale story and meet my soul mate if such a thing exists. I work hard and love to have a great time and if you think you're my dreamboat, drop me a line.
BTW---A word of advice that may come off bitchy but you'll thank me for it..... Women do not think this it's funny or cute, unless you are a prepubescent, to type lol, lmao, tgif, ttyl. I swear...It's an inside conversation women have all the time. Ask a female friend.

For fun:

I'm generally very active. I work our 3-4 times a week, play volleyball a few times a week (tournaments on the weekend), snowboard and just about anything competitive. Although a nice bottle of wine and a movie is nice with the right person.

Favorite hot spots:

There are so many great places in the city. I love Tapas, Italian and some great seafood. As for bars it depends on whom I'm with and what kind of mood. Sometimes prefer lounges, other times, a baseball cap, jeans and a beer.

Favorite things:

I love to travel. I try to take a few trips each year to new locations I haven't been to. I'm usually up for anything. I tried deep sea fishing this year and had a blast. The theater is always fun, but camping with a group of friends is memorable

Last read:

Since my jobs deals with a lot of dry clinical reading, Im slightly embarrassed to admit, mindless bedtime reading is fantastic. I read a fair number of Jodi Picult books, as well as traditional best seller like the Kite Runner. Nothing fascinating
