I think life is pretty amazing and definitely believe in "living in the moment." Putting yourself out there on a platform like this should, I believe, be to find someone to complement you, not fill a void in your life. So, I'm looking for someone who is happy with their life, as is, with the desire to make it EVEN better - possibly with me ;).
I like to surround myself with interesting, intelligent and caring people who don't take themselves too seriously. I'm extremely passionate with everything in my life and think that is one of my best qualities. I love what I do on a daily basis, so, I work a lot more than most of the friends my age and have always been self-motivated and driven. It's important that the people in my life see that as a good thing. Though my work is extremely important to me, I ALWAYS know how to have a good time and think that a healthy balance is such a necessity. I'm a total goof-ball and love being around people who embrace that side of me :) My friends and family come first, always, and I am lucky to have solid, healthy relationships in my life.
My favorite thing in the world is bringing people together -- love BBQ's, beach days and roomie/neighbor/friend dinners (which I do at least once a week). Traveling is quite possibly the most intriguing thing about life. I have been to quite a few exciting places but know that there are always more places to go, explore and discover. How cool is that?
I stay very active and love everything from kickboxing, swimming and hiking to Bikram yoga, boot camp and cycling. Working out, to some extent, every day has become a "must" for me. I've done two sprint triathlons and plan to do another in the coming months.
Ambition, intelligence and a sense of humor are three "must-have" attributes that I look for in a potential partner, and friends in general. I hate lazy people, I am a huge sucker for a guy with good grammar, and someone who always wants to go out and try new things. I'm pretty sarcastic, would kill for a good laugh, and love a challenge - so basically, you have to keep me on my toes. ;)
My friends' and my motto is "Do it for the story" - otherwise, what do you have to laugh about when you're 80?
