I love live music, emphatic punctuation, the occasional country song (that’s what happens when you grow up in Indiana), dancing until dawn, laughing so hard my stomach hurts, jewelry (making, collecting, wearing), crazy coincidences, fresh air, the first sip of AM coffee, exploring Baltimore’s eclectic neighborhoods, and making friends with strangers.
Though I am passionate and opinionated about things that matter a lot, including social justice and universal health care, and things that matter less, such as hybrid cars and Sunday brunch, I am also good at keeping an open mind. That being said, if you've ever wanted to know the difference between the Volt and a Prius, I’m your girl! Other key talents include making the best of any situation, dance-walking (bonus points if you will dance-walk beside me), making apple pie (but not a whole lot else…), and knowing when somebody needs a hug. I am terrible at reading maps. I am excellent at asking for directions.
The things I am most grateful for include my fun, eclectic, loving, and smart family/friends, a fascinating career that challenges my head and heart, and a little bit of mystery about what the future holds. I try to live each day as an adventure, build good karma, and pay it forward.
