So…tell me a little about yourself. Kinda like a job interview I guess, huh? Yeah, well, I hate this part – I am not good at talking about myself but here it goes.
Who/what am I looking for? I want to meet someone to share in both the good & the bad. I believe in honesty always. Some people say they want the truth but they really just want the “good” truth. Not me. I want the brutal, honest truth. Keep in mind that is also what you are going to get from me. I don’t think it’s mean if it’s the truth – it just is what it is. I’m not into playing games; no one wins in that scenario. I’ve come to realize how important it is to laugh, genuinely laugh, every day. I am looking for someone who will “always laugh with me” (the rest of that saying goes “never at me” but I can pretty much guarantee that there will be plenty of laughing at me so we will just strike that part. I’m OK with it.)
I think you can tell a lot about a person by how they like to dress. I like to kick back in my workout gear and Nike’s (always Nike) but also have no problem upping the ante in a pair of jeans and heels or a dress.
I am very focused on my job and it takes a lot of my time (by my choice), but I have absolutely zero issues with making time for my personal life and the people in it. I want what I want and I give what I get. If the reward is worth the work, I’m all in.
I am always looking for the chance to hide a workout in a new adventure (maybe repelling down the side of a high rise in Chicago, running by the lake, etc.) and would love to find someone to do these kinds of things with. I’ll try pretty much anything once when it come to physical activities and nothing motivates me like a challenge. Friendly competition never hurt anyone so if you’ve got any ideas, try me. I’m game.
So then what’s a good date? A night in curled up on the couch with a glass of wine and a movie, dinner as a couple or with friends, or a ball game (live or in a bar) are all good options. (Obviously this is not a first date list.) I tend to be a guy’s girl and think like a boy but don’t let that fool you when it comes to romance. Any girl who says she doesn’t care about it is lying. It’s important. Remember, I do give what I get.
In the end, I just want to find someone to celebrate the good and defy the bad in life with…together. If you’re interested or want to know more, message me. You’ll never know if you don’t ask.
~Don’t be afraid to fall in love; it’s the only thing in life that matters.
