After six years living in the San Francisco Bay Area I'm moving back to the East Coast. I live in New Haven but I spend a lot of time in south Florida, too.
I am a professor and I love my job. I'm pretty open-minded about meeting someone who has a totally different career path or background, so long as there's mutual respect.
I learned to speak Portuguese in Brazil, and Japanese in Japan, so if we share common interests that's great (I'm still working on Spanish). I love to travel. There are lots of places I still haven't been, but I also like to go back to the same places to get to know them well. Being a traveler and tourist isn't the same thing, right?
An observation: I notice some people's preferences are set for 3' to 8' feet tall. Are you really comfortable dating a hobbit or bigfoot? I don't think adult human males exist at either of those extremes...
