I like watching people on the subway doing little micro dances to whatever is going on in their headphones. I was born on an enchanted Island. I've perfected broiled Salmon with wasabi and asparagus. I mostly read non-fiction books; mostly about the origins of things. Getting lost in hardware stores is what I love. One is not supposed to touch the paintings at the MOMA but I sure want to! I love building objects as much as I like taking them apart. I love my grandmother who still tries to give me money for school supplies even though I'm now a college professor. Good improvisation is central to my practice. I spent half my life with the crickets and the stars and half with the lights and the cars. I've always wanted to go to Mongolia and listen to live throat singing next to a heard of wild horses.
