What you see is what you get with me. I'm transparent (but not because I'm fair-skinned), honest, laid back, loyal, easily amused and, I'm told, witty. I'm looking to meet someone who shares these qualities in his own unique way. Originally from South Florida, I’ve lived in DC for seven years, and (miraculously) stayed in the same apartment. Free mediocre coffee in my apartment building's lobby is a hard thing to pass up. I produce events with authors and do PR/communications. You'd think I'm a safe bet for a good book suggestion but I'm always painfully behind on reading the books being buzzed about. The shoemaker has no shoes, what can I say. I like farmers' markets, yoga, street performers, day trips, live music, bakeries, coffee shops with character(s), and train rides (why don't Amtrak Guest Rewards ever add up to a free ticket?). I enjoy writing, especially about mishaps/situations that could probably only happen to me - like baking the world's most expensive granola bars. Looking forward to warmer weather soon (fingers crossed; I'm also superstitious) and the benefits that come along with shedding all of the layers: baseball games, outdoor seating at restaurants, jazz in the Sculpture Garden, and hiking in Rock Creek Park.
