The most important things you should know about me, in no particular order: I drive a stick shift car. Because it’s more fun, and it decreases the likelihood of me doing something stupid with my free hand while driving, like texting or eating a burrito or shaving. You get the idea. I’m gainfully (and happily) employed. I work for Symantec, the market leader in information protection software. I know more about such scintillating topics as elliptical curve cryptography and multi-path network filesystems than any man should. When I’m not rubbing elbows with the executive staff, I’m affixing cover sheets to TPS reports. Sometimes, I like to be spontaneous. I once flew to Costa Rica on a whim and spent a week surfing and drinking cervezas in a remote, seaside village in the jungle. Think Corona commercial. I like, no, I love sports. The Giants, the Niners, the USC Trojans, those are my teams. I enjoy skiing and running and I’m pretty decent at both. In fact, back when I ran track in college, I once beat a future Olympic gold medalist in a sprint, granted, she was feeling a bit ill that day… I can be kinda nerdy. See paragraph 2, line 3. I do adventurous things. I recently summited Mt. Fuji, it was a taxing, arduous endeavor. Fortunately, I was able to summit with my pride intact, beating Etsuko, a 70yo Japanese grandmother by a few nose hairs to the top.
