Time for a clean slate in lieu of spring. This online thing has been interesting. I am a creature of habit earnestly trying to break up daily patterns and "get out there" as they say. A bit tricky for a single gal with girlfriends who now have hubbies and babies, even in a place like DC.
I have a general sense of the type of person I get along well with. But in the end it is all about that elusive chemistry that happens in realtime.Work/training takes up much of my time, but I am told life only gets busier...my life has been more flexible than in the recent past. So it looks there's no better time than the present to dip a toe into the dating pool.
A bit about me... Softspoken and conscientious and a bit self-conscious. I do better one-on-one as opposed to group settings. I am a magnet for nicknames... Chewy, joobers, jooks, muffin, pumpkin, tigerbalmninja (my favorite). I bite my nails until they bleed. I start lists but tend to lose them. My goal for the season is to bring order to my apartment and install an indoor garden on my wall.
I am looking for a companion-friend before anything else. Although I am not exactly a spring chicken, I don't feel particularly rushed to settle down. People live a really long time these days anyway.
