Born and raised in Russia, I moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1997, and relocated to Florida in summer 2012.
I am thankful to all my past relationships for teaching me life lessons, helping me learn about myself, and making me who I am today.
What I value in a relationship:
Honesty. Without trust relationship will not be healthy.
Respect. You don't have to agree, but do not disrespect.
Loyalty. If you haven't completely closed doors with your past, it will hurt your current/starting relationship. Once committed, be there 100%
Sense of humor. First of all, I find guys with a great sense of humor sexy. Secondly, I think people are bonding when they laugh together.
Compromise. The plan is to make your special person happy, right?
Communication. Humans are not at that level yet when they can read others' mind, so verbalize, and preferably in timely manner.
I do not judge or am not willing to change anyone, either I accept a person the way he/she is, or distance myself.
I have a 9 yo son, who is my main priority, so he is a part of the deal.
Who I am hoping to find. Someone who is happy with his life. Must love kids (at least mine :-) He likes to travel, locally, internationally, weekend gateaway, a week long trip, sightseeing, active or just relaxing by the pool and reading a book, I am up to any type of travel. He doesn't have to be a food and wine snob, but preferably appreciates good food and wine. He doesn't necessarily cook but it would be fun if we create something in the kitchen together while sipping wine, and then watch a movie or show. I love physical touches and snuggling, hope he does as well. I am more attracted to men who are in charge and can make decisions.
I would enjoy watching/attending sporting events together, fishing is fun, boating. I don't play golf, but appreciate the game, and I am a good cart driver :-) He will make me happy, if now and then spoils me with flowers and dark chocolate ;-)
There are so many things in life to enjoy together...walk on the beach, ski in Colorado, kissing in Paris, gamble in Vegas, watch a movie under a blanket, laugh in a comedy club, sing along at the concert, cheer at the game, learn to dance salsa, have a long dinner at French Laundry, wine tasting at Napa... it doesn't matter what you do, it matters who you do it with.
