I'm a Florida girl, born and raised. I've lived in DC for almost five years now, and I love it.
I'm a die hard Florida Gator and Orlando Magic fan (yes, they do exist). And I'm getting there with the Redskins. It'd be great to find a fellow sports fan. Unless you went to FSU. Seminoles need not apply... Kidding (mostly).
In an attempt to sound less cliche, here are some very important facts about me:
-I can cook, but I have an irrational fear of poisoning myself that prevents me from enjoying it as much as I'd like. I do love to bake, however.
-I have an addiction to orange tic-tacs. If I had a dollar for every time someone made a comment about my usual stockpile, I'd have enough to buy at least twenty more packs of tic-tacs.
-I believe that the West Wing is the greatest show of all time. Shows I'm currently watching include Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Parks and Rec, Homeland, Archer, The League, The Wire, Modern Family, Portlandia and many others. Saturday Night Live will always hold a special place in my heart.
-Once you're friends with me, you're probably stuck with me. I rarely lose touch with people, and I love that some of my best friends are from nursery school.
-In my illustrious 12 year soccer career, I managed to break my bones at least a dozen times, including my hip.
-I love trivia. Where else am I going to use any of the useless knowledge I've accumulated over the years?
-This past fall, I picked up and moved back to Florida for three months to work on a congressional campaign.
I'm looking for someone who is intelligent, caring, and easy going. I try not to take life too seriously, so I'm looking for someone who can go with the flow and enjoy the day to day things. I need someone with a great sense of humor who can make me laugh, who won't get offended if I'm a little sarcastic from time to time, and who can laugh at me in my goofier moments.
