That quote pretty much sums up my approach to life, even the bad parts. I'm so grateful to be here now, working in my field, close to my family and involved in a wonderful community that energizes and inspires me. And here's the thing: I'm ready to share my world with someone else, and I'd genuinely love to become a part of someone else's life in the process.
I love to make the people I care about laugh, I love to take their burdens on my own shoulders (if they want me to), and I love to stir up a little silliness when things are getting too serious. I work for a local theatre company, get paid to sing for a church in Winston, perform for private parties, and teach meditation at a community yoga center. I'm also involved in all sorts of activism and organizing to make Greensboro a better place for all its residents.
I'm looking for someone confident, who is as content with their professional and personal lives as I am with mine. I'd love to meet someone who's met their own share of challenges. I also want to meet someone who's able to embrace the absurd aspects of life and who can be sarcastic when they want to be. Most of all I'd like to meet someone who's ready for adventure but perfectly content to cuddle on the couch after a long day.
