I have spent the last few years of my life focused completely on my career and have used it as an excuse to not try to meet new people and stay in a close knit group of friends. My job requires me to keep everyone I work around at a certain arms length, so meeting people is near impossible in that avenue so I figure looking here couldn't hurt. I'm interested in meeting someone who has is fun, intelligent, can hold a witty conversation, understand and appreciate sarcasm, find enjoyment in the simplest things and be in a relationship that is also a friendship.
I work in a specialized field that takes me all over the cities, usually to the worst of them but gives me an opportunity to see places I usually wouldn't go to. My family and friends are very important to me, being that both are small in size but big in personality and fun. You can usually find us having a lively debate over some controversial topic or plotting something others would view as crazy, and even just see as fun. I grew up on the east coast in the middle of nowhere, so I grew up loving the outdoors, exploring and enjoying the world. While the accessibility to the outdoors is more limited here in the cities, I have spent the last couple summers finding fun new places for hiking and camping. I am hoping this summer to buy a kayak and hit up some of the rivers in the area. I have been told by many of my friends I am a modern day MacGyver, I believe anything can be fixed with duck tape and rope, although my sister did not agree when I offered to fix her prom dress.
