For the past five years, I've been focusing on developing my career and indulging in adventures. I've recently moved back to Florida to take a more permanent position and I plan on spending less time indulging in adventure (I can't just give it up completely). Part of that permanence included a recent investment in a house of my own. Now that I'm in a position with a 10 year plan, I'm ready to start focusing on my personal life.
I enjoy spending time getting together with friends for drinks, playing darts or billiards, hanging out, going out to a bar, or hosting small get togethers at my place. My career can be very time consuming but when I'm away from work, I also enjoy cooking, going to the beach, surfing, running, going to concerts, sporting events (especially football and racing), going for a ride on my motorcycle, trying new things, reading, and going to the movies. I especially enjoy cooking because it provides an opportunity for me to be creative when I spend most of my time being very analytical. I used to think running should just be something you should do if someone is chasing you but I've found that it is a great way to relieve stress. It also compliments my love of eating and cooking. I try to be fun-loving, laid back, and relaxed when I can because when I am at work or have an objective or a task I'm working at, I become very intense and dedicated until it is completed.
Spending time with family and friends is very important to me. I come from a small family (myself, my parents, and my brother) but we will always be there for each other no matter the circumstance. I'm looking for someone who also values the people important in their life and are willing to make time for those people. I'm looking to meet someone who shares some of my interest, is willing to let me be me when it comes to the interests that are not shared, and can be own their own person who will continue to enjoy their interest we do not share. I'm not looking for an immediate marriage and family, but rather, I'd like to take the time to get know someone, have fun, and enjoy all aspects of life.
