I am new to online dating, so bear with me. Let's see... I am a Bay Area native, I consider myself to be adventurous and always open to trying new things, I enjoy my work (well some parts of it anyway), and I have more hobbies than I have actual free time. But I am working on the whole work/life balance thing. I love living in the Bay, and I do my best to get outside and enjoy the great weather whenever possible, whether it's hiking or biking, or just taking a walk to Peet's for some coffee beans.
I really don't have an image in my head of the perfect match for me, to me it's more about the big picture and how 2 people click together. I'm looking to meet an open-minded woman who is open to exploring new things and also comfortable enough with herself to let loose and let the real you come out. If you feel like "the real you" is slightly weird at times, chances are you're also pretty awesome and that's the woman I want to meet.
Other things of interest: I have done many martial arts over the years, most recently Brazilian Jiujitsu and kickboxing. My goal is to become a high level practitioner in Brazilian Jiujitsu assuming my body holds up to the abuse over the next few years. I love to travel and my next destination will most likely be either Scotland or a trip to Japan to make up for the trip I planned that never happened in 2011 due to the tsunami. Speaking of Japan, I have been studying Japanese language for a while now and also becoming more and more enamoured with the culture and aesthetic, including a small collection of bonsai that I enjoy keeping up. I love food (who doesn't?) and I'm always looking for a new favorite spot to eat at and try something new.
