ABOUT HIM & WHO HE'S LOOKING FOR

This is where I tell you that the most important things to me in my life are my family and friends, and thus why I have remained in Seattle. That I live an active life-style, like to go out and try new things whether restaurants, local concerts, or anything else, but also appreciate the quiet night at home. Where I eat and live healthy, though do it because I like how it makes me feel. Where I have done the bar scene and have moved past it, though I still like a great happy hour...though that depends more on the people than anything else. Where I have established a career, but know that a house doesn't make a home. But that is probably most guys on here, so a few unique things about me:

- I am called the funny guy at work...I have a very sarcastic/witty side. Whether a baby in a crib, a group of friends at dinner, to a couple walking down the street, there's nothing better than people smiling and laughing...so if I can help cause that, it brings a smile to me.

- I am significantly deficient in the number of stamps in my passport...hopefully this is where you come into play.

- I keep of wad of dollar bills in my car console that I give to the homeless, called my "karma jar", as I know some day I'll need to rely on a friend or stranger for something. Over the past few years, I have served on various non-profit boards. I give of my time and money because I don't believe it is just our duty to leave the world a better spot when we leave, but to make the world a better spot now.

- A few years ago, I read an article about the importance of human touch with a new born and the impact to thier development. I couldn't help but believe that continues through life. Thus although not a big fan of PDA, I believe holding hands, the kiss on the cheek, the squeeze of the hand is important.

- I hate running, and think it is a form a self punishment. But I love the way it makes me feel afterwords, so I have just started doing it again. Growing up playing sports has made being active and competitive a part of my nature and DNA. Being active keeps me not only physically healthy, but brings me mentally and emotionally balanced.

- I am an Internet ordained minister and have performed three weddings. It is the greatest complement those friends could have given me and our friendship. So call me the minister, padre, or my preference, Man of the Cloth.

- I am random and think outside of the box. To try to get over the fear of heights, I went skydiving. Yeah, it didn't help, but I gave it a try.

- I am highly competitive, whether sports or board games, but I am also a gracious loser (which is surprising as it doesn't happen to often)

- I like large and grand gestures, but they need to have meaning. Every year for Christmas, my goal is to get someone to cry. Not because I am mean, but it means I did something special.

- I like to cook, but prefer to do it with someone. I'm not great, but I can follow a recipe...most of the time.... okay, sometimes. It's like driving. I have the worst sense of directions, and I may get lost for a period of time, but the journey is usually worth it,

- I'm an old school gentleman that believes in chivelry. I'll open the door for you, not because you need to, but because you deserve it. I'll buy flowers, not because it is Valentines day, but I saw them at a Sunday market and they made me smile.

- I believe character isn't demonstrated when things are going well, but not as planned.

As for you, if I knew exactly what I wanted I wouldn't be single. But the values I seek often evlolve when someone introduces me to something new. So I won't put a checklist, as I'm sure you've either not read this far or won't care, but if you think our personalities, lifestyles, and traits may work, feel free to reach out.

Although the old school gentleman, I don't always believe in traditional gender roles, so go ahead and take the lead if you like.
