It's always hard to talk about yourself, but here's my go at it. I was born and raised in Colorado, so I consider myself a true native. I went to college in Flagstaff, Arizona, which matches Colorado's weather almost perfectly, but rivals Colorado with some of the most magnificent rain and thunder/lightening storms I've ever experienced. Eager to spread my wings, I spent three years right after college in Massachusetts. I loved living 20 minutes from the beach, but I truly missed the Rocky Mountains and most importantly my family!
Now back in CO, I am enjoying each and every day! I am an education specialist, and truly love my chosen profession. I'm currently teaching special education students in 4th and 5th grade, at an urban charter school! I love investing in my future by caring for and educating the younger generations. My goal is to begin grad school soon, to better myself as an educator and improve my ability to reach and teach all children.
I think life is too short to not enjoy the best parts. So, I enjoy spending time with family and surrounding myself with truly authentic friends, having a good laugh, hiking, biking, being outside, playing pick up games of Frisbee, tossing a baseball, singing karaoke, going out to dinner, trying new foods or recipes, watching a good movie, or just hanging out at home. I am also a deeply committed Christian, who is active within my church. My faith is of the utmost importance!
I would love to find someone who shares my faith, is educated, has career ambitions, is an outdoorsy type, but doesn't take life too seriously!
