I'm not your typical guy.
I have no problem admitting that I'm looking for a "The Notebook" kind of love and believe that a man can be sensitive and caring but still a man. I believe in treating women with respect, that games have no place in matters of the heart and that starting as friends is the only way to build a truly lasting relationship.
I'm also a busy guy. I'm the sole parent to my four kids; 2 boys, 2 girls and 3 step kids who don't live with us but visit often. I work full time and go to school two days each week. The rest of my time is devoted to my kids. I lost my wife of 11 years due to complications of pregnancy.
I don't think that we can really list what we want and what we don't want in a relationship in just a paragraph or two, but I can tell you that I'm here for the right reasons. I'm not looking for someone to take care of my kids, but I do want to be with someone who will be a good role model for them.
I'm looking for something real, something that will last and something that is built on honesty. Being great with kids, loyal and accepting me for who I am matter most to me.
The rest we'll have to figure out together.
