Hello, and thanks for stopping by! I’m a well-rounded ESTJ looking for a practical, patient, and resilient gal that knows what she wants out of life and where it's headed. Hopefully, she'll be a good Grandmamma someday! ;-) While I'm looking to meet the right woman, I won't pass up the opportunity to make some friends.
I’m very passionate, loyal, goal oriented, romantic, ambitious, and "meat and potatoes". My friends have described me as "equal parts Rock God and Tech Geek". I grew up in a large, hard-working, and patriotic family. Learning from the "Salt of the Earth" type of people has really shaped me!
To pay the bills, I’m a Technical Program Manager and a “retired” musician. You’ll often hear me boast that I’ll never have to worry about a mid-life crisis. History, philosophy, and music are my passions and first loves in life, but they’re not exactly the most stable of career paths. These days, I have a Rock band back home that gigs every so often. I've been playing guitar for over 25 years, so it seems to keep my interest and it doesn’t overwhelm me.
I enjoy music, working out at the gym, craft brews, and the occasional road trip when I have free time. I've become a big fan of afternoon naps and down time, as well. For my latest challenge, I've started a doctoral program. I tend to think that Autumn is my favorite season, and I love to watch football and hockey! I like to play football and hockey, as well, but I prefer to stay away from injuries these days. :-P
I often admire when Senior Citizens introduce their wife/ husband as their "best friend for xx years"? In my opinion, that is a goal that we should all shoot for and something that we should look forward to.
