Hey there! A little about myself- I live a very active lifestyle and love new adventures, intellectual conversations, and cooking with/for others. I'm a scientist by trade (am currently a PhD student at Maryland studying Exercise Physiology) but like keeping things balanced and also have an artistic side and am definitely a kid at heart. I think of my job as a nerdy playground. When I'm not working, I'm probably either working out, outside somewhere, painting/building something random, or trying out new foods/restaurants.
I can be kind of a goof and like keeping things light and entertaining. I am calm and action based in stressful situations. I often laugh at inappropriate moments. A handful of times in my life I have laughed so hard that I fell over. I'm typically smiling and finding the positive in every situation. It takes a LOT to make me angry. I can be pretty independent, but I'd prefer to share my time with someone. I'm much better one on one or in small groups than in large groups. I am Catholic and would love to find someone to share my faith with. Family is also important to me and when we're together, we are often playing cards. My mom has a handful of good stories about times I've really embarrassed her.
One of my goals is to cycle across the country some day, ideally while doing some community service of some kind. I love the Ravens and enjoy going to an occasional Orioles game. I think communication is incredibly important. My parents decided a long time ago that they would never go to bed angry- I try to live by this.
As far as what I'm looking for- I am attracted to outgoing guys who have a fun and a serious side. I'm also looking for an honest, confident, supportive guy who can challenge me. It's important to me that you stay active. I don't care what you do, as long as it's something.
