I am an intelligent and level headed woman who loves to laugh anytime the opportunity presents its self. I have been single for quite some time because I felt that was best for my son. The years have flown by rather quickly and it is time for me to really connect with someone. I was raised with very strong morals and values and come from a military background. I have the type of family that gets together on the holidays and the men have a few drinks, play guitar and talk sports or cars, the women have a few drinks, sing bad karaoke, and play card games, the house is filled with love and laughter. I am looking for a good fit with not just me but my entire family.
So a little more about me, you know the quirky likes and dislikes… I like crazy socks, crushed ice, and yes occasionally I burst out into song in the shower, but really who doesn’t?!?!? I love watching all types of movies; it’s my escape from reality in 2 hour increments. I love make up, but that shouldn’t imply that I’m high maintenance because I prefer a t-shirt and jeans to dresses and heels. I don’t like, chicken wings, soggy vegetables, and things that smell bad…. Eww!
What I am really looking for in a “match” first off, someone that is not old enough to be my father. I am not looking for a pretty boy that will spend more time in the bathroom than I do waxing his eyebrows and applying self tanner; however I will admit that looks are important, because the attraction has to exist in order for it to go any further. Also, most likely due to my upbringing, I am a sucker for a man in uniform. Although I am not dead set on being with someone in the military, I think dog tags are the sexiest accessory ever created. I need someone who is self-confident (not cocky) and not jealous, someone who will laugh with me when I talk about some of the silly pick-up lines that the inmates use on me at work. Work ethics are also very important; I’m looking for someone with an overall understanding that success can only be achieved through hard work. In addition I would also like someone who meets the typical and standard criteria, trustworthy, good sense of humor, family oriented, honest, good communicator, caring, ect…
