Hi! I'm at the perfect time in my life...young and healthy and ambitious, but mature and responsible and grounded. I have a very conservative career and try and balance that out by being spontaneous and fun and open-minded about everything in life. I'm very active and I'm looking for someone who shares my passion for health and fitness, and who can stimulate me intellectually. I also really like to relax...hanging out at home around the BBQ or catching the latest movie from Redbox. Im looking for a mature, honest relationship that is also comfortable and fun. Im too old for games and just want to find someone who takes care of me, and allows me to take care of them, but is also independent and has their own life and identity.
As you can tell by my choice of profile pictures, I am very involved with my boys. That being said, they would not come into the picture until later. I only have them part time and I have a life of my own (Or try to LOL). I did need to throw it out there that I am a single dad and my kids are a huge part of my life.
Fun/Interesting Facts about me: I was a professional child actor (not as exciting as it sounds). I'm an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver (not in water less than 80 degrees). I am a college professor (more to that story). Although my job has made me jaded and callous and cynical, I remain truly idealistic about what I do for a living and try very hard every day to make a difference in the world.
My Red Flags (this is for fun mostly): If every picture in your profile is of you holding a drink, its a red flag. I LOVE animals, but if there are more pictures of your pets on your profile than there are of you and your family, its a red flag. If in every other profile picture you are clinging romantically to some un-named male entity, its a red flag. Oh, and this actually happened to me THREE times in a row...if you have been divorced for years and can't stand your ex, but still have your married name...its a red flag! LOL
